This master bath remodel was designed to be a comfortable retreat for Chapel Hill homeowners. Our goal was to turn the ordinary room into a spa-like space and to make the most of the beautiful natural light that warms the room.
We started this process by gutting the old bathroom and adding new cabinets, countertops and sinks to create separate vanities, building a new shower space and installing the new bathtub.
The raised panel cabinets are from Holiday Kitchens in Ivory Paint with a Brushed Suede Glaze. They give homeowners plenty or storage to keep their space organized. The granite countertops, which are also used in the shower, are Bianco Romano Original. Between the two vanities we installed the Mermaid soaking bathtub from the Wyndham Collection for ultimate relaxation. To offset the neutral tones of the cabinets and bathtub, we used Sherwin Williams paint in Exclusive Plum.
The master bathroom now also features a custom spa-style shower with built-in bench and fixtures from Delta. The shower has three different style tiles from DalTiles collections. The floor tiles are from the DalTile Forest Park Collection in Sugarmaple. The shower walls are covered in brick style tiles from the DalTile Florentine Collection in Crema Marfil, and the accent tiles in the shower are from the DalTIle Stone Radiance Collection in Kinetic Khaki Blend.
